ATTACK OF THE TRACK FEAT TIN TENN

Welcome back to another edition of Attack Of The Track! Today we introduce and a up and coming artist from Memphis , TN who goes by the name Tin Teen.

Bio

Born and raised in Memphis, Austin “Tin Tenn” Henry has an incredible life-story at just 23 years old. Writing since he could hold a pen, in 4th grade he wrote a poem which won the Memphis City Competition, but was denied at state level because the organizers thought someone older wrote it. By age 13, the Memphis drug scene had consumed Austin, and by 16 he was locked in an adolescent institution in upstate New York. “They would rip up my binder full of rhymes, and it drove me… to do it more” recalls Tin Tenn. This is when he made the decision: music is my only way out.

Overall

Tin Teen has a really good sound, by that I mean you can put this guy on any solid track and it would be a 10! The music is defiantly good delivering some pretty impressive joints like the down home rock hip hop track  “Tin Outta Tenn” letting them all know that he is a Ten in TN and offers a bit of story telling with his well done track “Lucid Dreams” a song with a great message and is industry radio, some shit you would hear on the radio which is a great thing. Overall we like Tin Tenn and I am sure you will too.

Underground Music Video Review x Hunnid “CCG or Die”

Underground Music Video Review:

Artist&Track: Hunnid / CCG or Die

Hunnid drops a gritty visual for the hyped track “CCG Or Die” off the W.A.T.T.B.A.S. (What A Time To Be A Savage) mix tape. Hunnid hails from Chi Town and as a salute to one of hip hops most influential group UGK (Rip Pimp C) the video was filmed in 3rd Ward Houston. CCG Or Die is a barrage of fist clinching bars with some very witty word play. In a territory were Drill is king, Hunnid keeps it 100 and stays true to a much more diverse and lyrical flow. Check out the video and be on the look for the What A Time To Be A Savage mix tape.

Coming off his underground 2015 album The Vent , Everett Gibbons is back with another solid hip hop album Dam(n) The Mainstream. Staying true to the art E.Gibbons delivers yet another dope project with much progression , juggling between wavy tracks like Garden (Produced by Golddigga) and falling back into Boom Bap mode on Leaves Of Grass (Produced By. Louis Mackey).Dam(n) The Mainstream offers a great variety of styles and sounds that you can vibe with. Hippe Van (Produced By. Nextwon) creates a groovy and energetic vibe, low key classic if you chill , relax and take in the feel of the track. Gibbons honestly paints pictures of love on each track, staying positive is key with this emcee and staying sharp on the mic. At first listen you will notice the sound that is Everett Gibbons by his strong lyrical prowess and his ear for great production and as always we enjoyed the new project Dam(n) The Mainstream , the consistency of music and dedication from Gibbons keeps us looking out for anything that drops under this young mans name. Check out both The Vent and Dam(n) The Mainstream today now streaming now on Soundcloud.
