Cudd finesses tracks like a true veteran with bars that stand for something real. Cudd has a tough flow, with a southern style that hasn’t been heard in awhile making for a somewhat nostalgic sounding mix of tunes. ” You See Da Stones” is available on Soundcloud , iTunes , Spotify & Tidal. Welcome back to another edition of Attack Of The Track! Today we introduce and a up and coming artist from Memphis , TN who goes by the name Tin Teen.
Born and raised in Memphis, Austin “Tin Tenn” Henry has an incredible life-story at just 23 years old. Writing since he could hold a pen, in 4th grade he wrote a poem which won the Memphis City Competition, but was denied at state level because the organizers thought someone older wrote it. By age 13, the Memphis drug scene had consumed Austin, and by 16 he was locked in an adolescent institution in upstate New York. “They would rip up my binder full of rhymes, and it drove me… to do it more” recalls Tin Tenn. This is when he made the decision: music is my only way out.
Tin Teen has a really good sound, by that I mean you can put this guy on any solid track and it would be a 10! The music is defiantly good delivering some pretty impressive joints like the down home rock hip hop track “Tin Outta Tenn” letting them all know that he is a Ten in TN and offers a bit of story telling with his well done track “Lucid Dreams” a song with a great message and is industry radio, some shit you would hear on the radio which is a great thing. Overall we like Tin Tenn and I am sure you will too.

Understanding the game and the everyday grind of an aspiring artist trying to make it in a sometimes dark business is key to a successful and safe career in this music business and twice as hard for most indie artist. Politics, fake friends and snakes can also be added to the list of things you have to watch out for. Nerd Dreams Recording artist Yung YIzzo opens about some familiar obstacles on his new joint Been Plottin. From being on the road and dealing with the ones that hate on another mans hustle, the nerd emcee using hus music paints a perfect picture of the life, while finessing the beat with a rocking melody. Yizzo lays it all out on a super catchy hook that reminds his haters that he is ready and his plan has already been set. Chasing the life can be a great experience for up and coming emcees, the lights and hand shakes can sometimes blur an artists vision but the Easton PA emcee continues to stay focus and keep his awareness of how the game is really played. The multi talented emcee also gives thanks to his city and soon enough the world will be rocking with Nerd emcee
South Jamaica Queens Emcee Foc Trillz aka Focus The Truth cooks up a certified instant classic hip hop project entitled Q85. Back on his Queens shit, and real as ever, Foc Trillz’s Q85 EP will be much pleasing to anyone that comes across it, one of those type of indie EP’s that you can just let play through. In an era of lost words, and highly overrated mumble rap, Focus continues to preserve and rejuvenate lyrics into the the state of hip hop today. The lead track Tales of Trilliam sets you directly into the back seat as Trills continues to stamp his passports, write beautiful scrips while dropping some heavy duty bars over a familiar Isley Brothers sample. The 9 track project is a must for anyone who is familiar with Focuses earlier works (Berwick Road , DUI), and the flows are still as viscous as ever. The boom bap joint Gonna Change feat Ayo The Don will undoubtedly connect you into the Foc Trillz sound, he truly is a game spitter with some of the most humbling lyrics. Q85 also has a real genuine sound too it, and as usual Focus knows how to balance and create a solid project that anyone can vibe too. We do have our personal favorites here at IHHR. Besides Tales of Trilliam and Gonna Change, we also had Platonic (Check out the video below) , Dollars & Bills & Accommodations are on heavy rotation hear at HQ and is also added to our new Attack of The Track Playlist.
Be sure to check out Q85, now streaming on Spotify and Soundcloud. Peep the video for Platonic right there above you…see it?? Im sure you do and always remember to support indie hip hip music!
